• Program.
• Computing requirements:
  • A couple of sheets of blank paper and a pencil (fountain pen if available)
  • A computer with an installation of the latest R -version (4.1.1)
  • with the latest versions of the Epi package (2.44)
  • the popEpi package (0.4.8).
• Practicals with solutions. Includes the course program.
  The course is built around the practicals document.
• R code for all practicals.
• Very preliminary slides --- handouts as 1-ups or 3-ups or 10-ups.
• Related to the course topics:
  • Overview of basic concepts in survival analysis. A compressed overview of essential quantities and their interrelations.
  • Epi package website. Links to vignettes from the package and notes on survival and multistate modeling.
  • Modern demographic methods in epidemiology website with links to earlier courses of similar content, with links to papers of relevance. Some really outdated.
  • Practical Multistate Modeling with R and Epi::Lexis A draft book manuscript. This is work in progress, so prone to change at unexpected times. Nevertheless, any comments and suggstions are welcome.
