• Notes on Linear Algebra might be useful if you are not perfectly familiar with matrix algebra etc. Chapter 2 of the notes will be used extensively in the discussion of the APC-models.
• Computing: There will be a substantial practical component so bring a computer with R installed and be fairly familiar with R.
  • Make sure your R-installation is up to date, the latest version of R (4.3.0)
  • You should install the Epi package (version 2.47.1) see here.
  • It may prove useful to have the packages demography and apc installed too.
